HOW IT WORKS
ODOR-BUSTER generates activated oxygen (O3, Ozone) which eliminates odors at the molecular level. The activated oxygen is an oxidizer, which attaches to the bacteria, mold, or virus molecules in the air and on exposed surfaces. It oxidizes the cell walls of the organism, which destroys the organism and its odor. Unlike bleach, another strong oxidizer, ODOR-BUSTER does not leave residuals on surfaces or in the air.
The activated oxygen returns to its normal oxygen state (O2), leaving no residue. The air smells fresh and clean like after a cleansing rain. The benefits are two-fold: the organism dies and the odor is gone.

Activated oxygen should not be breathed in heavy concentrations. While some similar machines may be used in occupied areas, ODOR-BUSTER generates high levels of O3; therefore, it is recommended that people and pets be removed from the area while the machine is in operation. After the area has been treated, O3 dissipates and you may occupy the area in a few minutes.
